Results of the AIPS-2011 exhibition

03/15/2011

AxxonSoft took part in the AIPS-2011 exhibition that was held in Almaty, Kazakhstan from March 2nd through March 4th. AxxonSoft’s booth featured its new product Axxon Smart PRO, the Axxon Intellect Enterprise 4.8.0 security platform (including Forensic Search technology), as well as Auto Intellect, POS Intellect and Face Intellect.

AxxonSoft's exhibit attracted enormous attention from AIPS' visitors as well as from visitors of the KazBuild exhibition which took place concurrently with AIPS-2011. The KazBuild exhibition was devoted to the construction and outfitting of real estate properties. The interest shown by KazBuild visitors was driven by the fact that most residential construction projects and various businesses (production, commerce, logistics) usually involve security systems.

Though visitors showed interest in absolutely all products presented, Axxon Intellect 4.8.0 aroused the most interest thanks to the product's capability to integrate existing security systems at facilities, its Forensic Search of video archive data, and its capability for remote monitoring through a web browser or pocket PC. Much attention was also received by Auto Intellect, particularly its capability to employ vehicle license plate recognition for entry/exit process automation at business centers, at supermarket parking areas, and to register departures and arrivals for transport service fleets. Visitors that showed interest in AxxonSoft products included representatives of contracting organizations and design institutes, managers of major holdings such as Kazakhmys, as well as representatives of companies from neighboring countries and the top management of transportation companies. For example, the AxxonSoft booth was visited by representatives of Almaty Metro.

Participation in the exhibition resulted in the collection of about 70 contacts from potential partners. Possible technological and commercial cooperation was discussed with the companies Microdigital, GANZ, Radiobarrier, and many others.

Aleksandr Zhukov, director of the AxxonSoft branch in Almaty, related the following: "For us, the exhibition was unquestionably successful, and one of the reasons for this was that it was held during a time of peak interest in integrated security systems in Kazakhstan. We were able to attract the attention of system developers and end users of our products, including directors of security of large companies. The exhibition showed that our solutions are in demand, especially in a corporate environment that involves large-scale, distributed security systems."
