AxxonSoft wraps up spring expo marathon at IFSEC 2013
During the four-day event, many distributors and systems integrators – hailing primarily from the United Kingdom, Western Europe, and the Middle East – visited the AxxonSoft stand.
Enormous, genuine interest was sparked by the company's presentation of Axxon Next 3.1, the latest version of the award-winning video management system. Above and beyond existing unique capabilities, such as 3D maps and TimeCompressor motion events summary technology, the new innovations in the latest version of Axxon Next VMS impressed event guests.
Given the importance of cost control for any security project, the excited reaction to GreenStream technology is hardly a surprise. GreenStream allows automatically choosing the video feed from a camera that best suits the video resolution displayed on-screen, without transmitting wasted pixels. This allows conserving CPU and network resources.
"Interactivity" is the name of the game in so many areas of technology these days, optimizing scores of processes, and security is no exception here. So guests and exhibitors at IFSEC 2013 were wowed by Immersion Mode, a new feature in Axxon Next 3.1 that is now supported by the interactive 3D map. Video is displayed translucently on top of the map, while objects in the frame are shown together with markers on the map to make the surveillance process truly interactive.
New camera layouts in Axxon Next 3.1 also caught the eye of security professionals: layouts are now completely user-configurable, supporting all sizes and configurations. This capability is particularly useful for displaying panoramic images.
AxxonSoft software was demonstrated at the stands of the company's longtime technology partners: Canon, JVC, Neovo, Promise, Samsung, Sunell, and Vision.
AxxonSoft was also an active participant at the ONVIF stand, where it demonstrated the company's flagship product: the infinitely scalable open Axxon Intellect Enterprise PSIM platform.
Important negotiations were held during the event with numerous current and potential partners, with the potential for amazing new projects to come.
IFSEC 2013 marked the fortieth anniversary of the event, drawing 1,200 exhibitors and 25,000 visitors to Birmingham.
