AxxonSoft solutions were presented at the Russian-French Safety and Security in Transportation conference held on October 18 – 19, in Moscow.
The conference was attended by top executives of the Russian Railways and the French National Railway (SNCF), representatives of the State Duma Transportation Commission, Ministry of Transportation and Ministry of Emergency Situations, France’s National Gendarmerie as well as representatives of the two countries’ national security, customs and border protection services.
The AxxonSoft exhibit display booths showcased railroad security solutions for major industrial facilities based on the use of Axxon Intellect software and the "Railway Suite", a module recognizing railroad car and cistern numbers. The company also displayed its cutting-edge smart analytics technology, specifically, the video analytics capability built into a Guardliner thermal imager that is integrated with the Axxon Intellect Enterprise software.
The conference attendees were particularly interested in AxxonSoft exhibit section that featured a demonstration of distributed objects monitoring at the Moscow-St. Petersburg railroad. The demonstration featured a display of system’s capability to be able to zoom in on any railroad section while offering a more detailed picture for real-time observation of the the selected zone.
AxxonSoft Corporate Sales Director, Andrei Khristoforov, participated in a roundtable discussion and gave a presentation entitled "Railroad Security. Challenges and Solutions ahead."
