BEZPEKA 2006, the 11th International Exhibition of safety means, has just finished its work. The exhibition's most prominent event was undoubtedly an open seminar by Vlado Damjanovski, a world leading expert in CCTV. People came from all parts of Ukraine to see the expert in person. BEZPEKA is one of the main national technical safety means forums growing each year since its start in 1996. More than 50 thousand security professionals have visited the exhibition since then.
150 private and governmental organizations from Ukraine, Latvia, Germany and Russia have been represented at the exhibition. Logically, the exhibition has been divided into two sections: "Data protection" (60 companies specializing on information security products and solutions) and "Intelligent Home" (57 companies from life support systems and location security means field). 24 conferences and seminars took place during 4 exhibition days.
Axxon (former ITV) company booth was always occupied with clients and partners. CCTVFocus publishing house was also represented here. Along with existing Axxon (former ITV) products, some newly developed solutions had been announced, first to mention is Axxon Professional intelligent security system along with parking control and vehicle license plates recognition (LPR) modules for AUTO-Intellect intelligent transport systems family.
Over 100 persons from Kiev, Dnepropetrovsk, Kharkiv, Donetsk, Odessa, Khmelnitsky, Lviv, Nikolaiv, Zaporizzhe, Vinnitsa, Ivano-Frankivsk and other places were present at Vlado Damjanovski's open seminar on CCTV. The companies represented were GK Sistema, Pronet, Siemens-Ukraine, Installator, SDO Azot, Card Systems, NPP AMI Ltd., Santa, Altron Inc., Technosystem and others. A day earlier a similar seminar took place in Moscow.
Professional media has been also represented at the seminar: "F+S: Technologies of Security and Fire Protection" magazine and "CCTV Ukraine", Ukrainian branch of "CCTV Focus" magazine. "F+S" is focused mostly on practical technical aspects of security systems operation while the latter is addressed to CCTV professionals covering independent hardware tests, industry news, new technologies, successful installation projects, etc.

Vlado Damjanovski gave high marks to both exhibition and seminar. According Vlado's impression of the exhibition itself it was pretty good organized and high level of exposition has been established. People who came to the seminar were really interested in the subject, and well qualified. After such a successful event, Vlado hopes to visit Ukraine at least one more time. He was grateful to Axxon (former ITV) company for arranging his visit to Kiev, and people from Kiev for their hospitality.
