On September 25–28, Axxon (former ITV) participated in ASIS International Annual Seminar & Exhibits – the world's largest and most comprehensive networking event dedicated to security that took place at the San Diego Convention Center in San Diego, California. This year's exhibition - boasting more than 610,000 square feet of the latest security technology and innovations - brought together nearly 20,000 security professionals from around the world and across the industry. More than 900 vendors demonstrated the cutting-edge technologies and services that are shaping the industry.
The large number of CCTV systems at the show encouraged Axxon (former ITV) to focus on the latest and most promising high-growth solutions: SCADA-Intellect system, integrated intelligent buildings, face capture and face recognition, license plate recognition, Safe City project, POS integrated system for product enhancement and productivity, IP based solution.
Open architecture used by Axxon (former ITV) technology allows to coordinate multiple disparate alerts, motion detections, alarms, biometrics, sensors and access points and provide complex event-driven policy management adjustable on "a fly". Such responses automate the first tier of responses and at the same enhance security personal with intelligent functionality. The system allows also not only open and close valves and switches; unlock and open doors for evacuations; shut down energy, water and electricity; but also manage first response like sending multiple notifications via landlines, the Internet, cell phones, SMS, PDA devices and e-mails.
Once again ASIS Seminar & Expo provided visitors, manufacturers, service providers and top security professionals with the opportunity to share knowledge among one another to bring about greater professionalism in the industry, and allowed attendees to find solutions and talk to top product experts to address all of their security needs.
