The largest international 'Hannover Messe-2005' industrial exhibition took part on April 11-15, 2005 in Germany. 6 000 companies of 60 countries met at an area of 200 000 sq. meters . 154 Russian companies demonstrated their products and developments in the field of automation, management and control over mechanical engineering, instrument-making, aircraft and space industries. Advanced security systems manufactured in Russia were represented by the Axxon (former ITV) company.
Vladimir Putin, the President of the Russian Federation, and Gerhard Schroeder, the German Chancellor, opened the Russian part of the exhibition on April 11.
Vladimir Putin said: "Russia, a standing participant of the Hannover fair, takes part as the major guest with a Partner Company status this year". The President sees an appreciation of the level of the Russian industry, science and technology about it. Vladimir Putin warranted that the fair enables Russian companies and enterprises to come into contact with their foreign colleagues and gain new contracts.
Within the framework of the business program there was conducted a Russian-German Day of Economics. The Russian Industrial Forum took place on April 12-14. An opening address was delivered by B.Khristenko, the Minister of Industry and Energetics of the Russian Federation. A number of workgroups meetings, common workshops, presentations and round tables was held, too. Governors, men of science, first persons of various companies, and leading specialists addressed the meetings representing both the Russian and the German parties.
V.Bratischev, the project manager of the Axxon (former ITV) company, took up the questions of new materials and innovative possibilities of Russia in the field of advanced technologies and security systems. Implementation of the Axxon Enterprise integrated system as a solution for various security tasks, anti-terror technologies - face recognition systems, Scada Axxon Enterprise automated control system's implementation outlooks, implementation of the SafeCity project in Moscow - all these relevant issues were discussed at the Forum and showcased at the Axxon (former ITV) company's stand.
The multiindustry business forum of the Hannover fair allowed the Axxon (former ITV) company to get into contact with other foreign companies. The Hannover fair is the key event representing the whole world's market of industrial automation and advanced technologies.
