The 10 th International Exhibition and Forum of Means for Provision of State Security Interpolitex, which took place in Moscow 's All-Russia Exposition Center on October 18–21, provided information and access to the latest innovations, and is recognized as one of the most prominent European exhibition in its field. The Exhibition has become an effective instrument for solving a whole set of issues in the domain of marketing and advertising, monitoring of arms markets, and concluding export deals on special-purpose weapons and equipment deliveries. Interpolitex-2005 was sponsored by Axxon (former ITV).
At more than 16.000 sqm of exhibition grounds, over 500 Russian and foreign companies presented their recent achievements in the security field.
Among the products presented at the show were the following: Digital Video Surveillance Systems, Face Capture/Recognition, car license plates recognition; a brand new IP “WaveCam” camera, an effective network solution for surveillance systems and remote control, Wavehub , a hardware net controlled video server that represents non-PC based compact IP-video server, and more. Axxon (former ITV) gave visitors the opportunity to test and familiarize themselves with the presented products, as well as receive qualified consultation.
Forum has a rich business program with numerous seminars, lectures, product presentations, press conferences and round tables. One of the distinctive features of the event has become the 2 nd Competitive Test of the CCTV Security Systems deserves special attention. Companies/developers introduced their products for jury consideration. The Axxon (former ITV) presented Axxon Enterprise integrated security system.
On the whole, the exhibitions have become not only a place for demonstration of the latest hi- tech security products, equipment and services but the real centre of information exchange, forming of ideas and for search of the potentialities for uniting efforts in opposing new threats. Companies presented most interesting solutions were awarded with the diplomas for the contribution into development of the industry. The Axxon (former ITV) took its deserved diploma.
