AxxonSoft took part in one of the largest European exhibitions for the security industry – IFSEC 2010, which took place on May 10-13 in Birmingham, England. The exhibition resulted in new agreements with our technological partners, expansion of our partner base and strengthening of AxxonSoft's image on the European market.
The AxxonSoft booth presented two of our main products – our flagship product Axxon Intellect Enterprise and the soon to be released Axxon Smart IP product. Visitors participated in a lottery drawing to win free tickets to the Formula 1 Gran Prix being held on June 26-27 in Valencia, Spain. Over the course of the exhibition, more than 450 new contacts were made with potential customers and partners. The AxxonSoft booth was visited by representatives of government and commercial organizations from the entire territory of EMEA (Europe, the Middle East and Africa), including a police department in Great Britain and Abu Dhabi, banks in Portugal, Great Britain and Italy, as well as major equipment manufacturers such as Canon, IBM, Hewlett-Packard, Dallmeier, and others.
The exhibition resulted in important agreements made with resellers from Slovakia, Italy, Great Britain, Spain, Germany, Belgium, Turkey, the Netherlands, Portugal, Dubai and Abu Dhabi. Another important result was the expansion of agreements with technological partners such as Axis, Merit Lilin, and IQinVision. New agreements were also reached concerning the integration of equipment from the companies Canon, Salto, Paxton, and Samsung. A decision was made together with Hewlett-Packard and IBM to conduct testing of AxxonSoft software on their computer platforms in order to obtain an official conclusion on their compatibility. This will help increase the confidence in AxxonSoft products felt by potential customers in various countries.
In addition to our partners and customers, more than 20 mass media organizations visited the AxxonSoft booth. A video interview was recorded with company president Murat Altuev, and various print publications conducted interviews with AxxonSoft representatives.
When assessing the result of the exhibition, Carlos Angeles, head of the AxxonSoft EMEA office in Barcelona, Spain, noted: «After one year working in the EMEA territory, the market identifies Axxon as a new player in the video management software domain. During the show we received many partnership requests from main worldwide manufacturers and most relevant distributors and system integrators. We can be proud to realize that we achieved in Europe the same brand awareness in one year that the company has in Russia after more than 5 years of success. I must say this was thanks to the great team effort and strong support from headquarters in this venture. Axxon is one step closer to become a global company».
