Burger King is a world-famous chain that vies with McDonald's for fast food supremacy. Recently it decided to equip its restaurants with a smart video surveillance and security system, for effective management of cash registers, client areas, and outdoor premises. Axxon Intellect was selected as the software core for the system.

04/26/2013 AxxonSoft releases client apps for iOS and Android
AxxonSoft has introduced a free Axxon Next client app for iOS and Android devices. The Android version provides remote access and monitoring for Axxon Next-based video surveillance systems. The iOS client includes even more functionality, with support for Axxon Intellect-based integrated security systems as well.

04/25/2013 Safe City based on the Axxon Next platform installed in Lima, Peru
Lima is the capital and largest city of Peru, forming its economic, political, and cultural center. This January, the Lima city government decided to initiate a Safe City video surveillance project. The choice of software went to Axxon Next, an open platform for smart video surveillance from AxxonSoft. The project is designed to reduce the city's crime rate and aid in police investigation.

12/07/2012 Safe City program in Donetsk, Ukraine: 800 cameras managed by AxxonSoft software
The idea to create a Safe City video surveillance system occurred to top law enforcement in Donetsk, a city in eastern Ukraine, in 2005. Viktor Dubovik, head of the Donetsk office of the Internal Affairs Ministry, was foremost promoter of the project alongside Vladimir Semibratsky, technical coordinator and originator of the project. The office conducted an analysis of the available software and hardware solutions, gauging the difficulty of establishing such a system in the city. Two key requirements drove the project: laying of fiber-optic lines to be owned directly by the Donetsk office of the Internal Affairs Ministry, and use of the video management capabilities of the Axxon Intellect Enterprise physical security information management (PSIM) software platform to store video and distribute it to operator monitors.

Axxon Next, the new video management software (VMS) platform from AxxonSoft, has received rave reviews, taking first place in comparison testing by Benchmark Magazine, a British publication. At the end of September 2012 AxxonSoft appeared in three trade shows around the globe — Security Essen (Essen, Germany), IPAS (Tehran, Iran) and ISAF (Istanbul, Turkey). The new Axxon Next open platorm video management software, Axxon Intellect Enterprise IP-based physical security information management platform, and vertically-integrated design solutions based on the Axxon Intellect platform were demonstrated at the shows.

10/11/2012 AxxonSoft and AlphaSonic create a Center of Excellence in Hungary
Axxonsoft and Alphasonic have achieved a contractual arrangement to create a Center of Excellence in Hungary at the Alphasonic base. The Center's tasks will include provision of training in Hungarian, with rights to certification in the name of Axxonsoft, and tracking Axxonsoft products at all stages, beginning with pre-sale consultation and ending with post-sale tracking. In the very near future a demonstration stand will be set up, at which all those interested may see the operation of Axxonsoft's basic products and vertical solutions. On March 27, 2012, St. Petersburg was witness to a riveting event: a treasure trove was uncovered! Just how the treasures were found at the Naryshkin Mansion at 29 Chaikovsky St. was a bit murky: persons unknown had attempted to remove the treasures piecemeal, in bags filled with construction debris. 01/07/2004 Safe City project : Novosibirsk
The 111-th anniversary of the foundation of the town of Novosibirsk has taken place on June 27, 2004. This day the Central administrative board of Internal Affairs of the Novosibirsk region and the Department of Internal Affairs of Novosibirsk presented the city with a gift and installed a video surveillance system on the main square of the city, the Lenin Square. Security of citizens and total video control are provided by means of 5 stationery and 2 hi-speed PTZ-enabled cameras featuring x22 zoom and located at the most important sites of the square.
