12/07/2012 Safe City program in Donetsk, Ukraine: 800 cameras managed by AxxonSoft software
The idea to create a Safe City video surveillance system occurred to top law enforcement in Donetsk, a city in eastern Ukraine, in 2005. Viktor Dubovik, head of the Donetsk office of the Internal Affairs Ministry, was foremost promoter of the project alongside Vladimir Semibratsky, technical coordinator and originator of the project. The office conducted an analysis of the available software and hardware solutions, gauging the difficulty of establishing such a system in the city. Two key requirements drove the project: laying of fiber-optic lines to be owned directly by the Donetsk office of the Internal Affairs Ministry, and use of the video management capabilities of the Axxon Intellect Enterprise physical security information management (PSIM) software platform to store video and distribute it to operator monitors.

On 22 November the fifth All-over-IP International Forum, hosted in Moscow, Russia, came to a close. The general sponsor of the forum, AxxonSoft, presented its latest products at its stand and participated in several additional events with great success.

Drivers Pack version 3.2.13 has been released, offering updated support for IP video servers and IP cameras in AxxonSoft products. The new version adds support for 44 models of IP devices.

12/05/2012 Allnet.Italia is Now Offering AxxonSoft Video Management Software in Italy
AxxonSoft is delighted to announce that Allnet.Italia is now offering AxxonSoft video management software in Italy. Allnet.Italia’s software training lasted three days, attracting seven participants. On the first day, participants underwent sales training to learn about USPs of Axxon products. The second and third days were reserved for technical training in Axxon Next and Axxon Intellect Enterprise.

AxxonSoft was proud to take part in the IFSEC India 2012 exhibition. The company's stand educated visitors about the brand-new Axxon Next open-platform video management software (VMS), presented the Auto Intellect and Face Intellect vertical solutions based on the Axxon Intellect Enterprise open PSIM platform, and demonstrated examples of Safe City program use and forensic search of video archives.

11/30/2012 AxxonSoft to hold VMS demonstration at IFSEC & OSH Arabia 2012
AxxonSoft will take part in the IFSEC & OSH Arabia 2012 exhibition, which is scheduled to take place from 9 through 11 December in Riyadh, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. The company will showcase its brand-new Axxon Next open-platform video management software (VMS), as well as the Axxon Intellect Enterprise open PSIM platform and Intellect-based solutions: facial recognition system (Face Intellect), supervision of cashier operations (POS Intellect), LPR and traffic monitoring (Auto Intellect), and demonstrations of Safe City program implementations. Guests at the booth will get to see Live Facial Recognition and try it out for themselves.

AxxonSoft invites the public to visit its stand at Safety & Security Asia, slated to take place in Jakarta, Indonesia from 5 to 7 December 2012. The company will showcase its brand-new Axxon Next open platform video management software (VMS), as well as Auto Intellect LPR & Traffic Monitoring system and Face Intellect facial recognition system based on the Axxon Intellect Enterprise IP-based physical security information management (PSIM) platform.

11/27/2012 AxxonSoft at GITEX 2012
AxxonSoft solutions were presented at GITEX, held on 14–18 October 2012 in Dubai, UAE. Launched in 1981, GITEX is the ICT business gateway to the Middle East, North Africa and South Asia Region. AxxonSoft products were showcased by two certified partners: Adaptive Technologies and Sprint SC.

11/26/2012 Axxon Next blows away the competition in Benchmark Magazine’s (U.K.) independent testing
Axxon Next, the new video management software (VMS) platform from AxxonSoft, has received rave reviews, taking first place in comparison testing by Benchmark Magazine, a British publication. The magazine performed independent testing of VMS solutions in its October and November issues. Alongside Axxon Next, the testers carefully examined the other leading VMS options on the market worldwide: Milestone XProtect Express, Exacq Exacqvision, Digifort Enterprise and Luxriot Advanced.

11/22/2012 AxxonSoft at SNB Qatar seminar
On 5 November 2012, Sajjad Arshad, Technical Director of AxxonSoft Middle East, gave a talk at a seminar held in Qatar by SNB, AxxonSoft distributor in the Middle East. The presentation, entitled "Experience a New Level of Security with an Open-Platform VMS", included experience in deploying AxxonSoft software on different projects.
