WaveHub operating at the Government reserve enterpriseRecently Wavehub, a hardware network video server, was installed at the Government reserve enterprise in Krasnoyarsk . The installation was performed by a team of Axxon (former ITV) partner, NPC Poligon, of the Krasnoyarsk region, who won a tender in October of 2005.

An analog surveillance system, which partially covered the building's perimeter, was their source of security before the installation. In the course of time, it became necessary to expand the system coverage to the whole perimeter and indoor areas. The administration decided to upgrade the system and install new equipment by Axxon (former ITV). The reasons they chose WaveHub network video server were for its high-quality of images, possibility to use motion detection and its ability digitally enlarge an image.

The NPC Poligon installation team changed the old equipment and installed 12 new cameras at the object. Planet network equipment was used for the construction of the system. The length of the cable lines is about 3 km.

WaveHub network video servers transfer video flow received from high-resolution cameras. In spite of the low temperatures (lower -30 degree Celsius), the equipment operates fail-safe. That has become possible thanks to the special equipment of automatic maintenance of temperature installed in the camera racks.

As the administration of the government reserve enterprise noted, the installed equipment by Axxon (former ITV) is easy to use. Another important benefit of the functionality is the ability to enlarge images digitally, enabling users to view and control the video data and images received. As specialists said, assembling of video server is very simple.

In the near future, the administration plans to install Auto-Intellect system by Axxon (former ITV) for the intelligent recognition of car license plates and railway car license plates at the object.
